TONIO RAMIREZ

Graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a Degree of Fine Arts Major in Advertising, my career began when I joined in theater leagues at an early age doing stage acting/technical & stage directing. My love for designs and advertising has propelled my talent in mixing both art into advertising industry. 

I started exploring photography and made some few gigs in public relations as a freelance photographer.

My interest in theater evolved. I decide to join PETA, CCP, METROPOLITAN and Teen Theater and became a performing artist on stage, I also joined the advertising industry where I excelled in Art Direction, Designs, Creative Direction and Multi-Media (Saatchi&Saatchi, BBDO, Campaigns&Grey, JWTManila).

 

After Advertising, I decided to join the network (ABS-CBN) and took charge of Creative imaging of the channels, Post-Production and Animation, Music Videos produced by the channel to which I became more hands-on. After 3 years, time to move and so, I decided to focus my goal in pursuing Directorial Works and Cinematography. Trained by an English Director based in Manila, Director Mathew Rossen who has been my mentor from Technical Lighting to Cinematography to Directing.
Presently busy doing Commercials, Viral Videos, Contents and Indie Film projects.  Recently finished a Netflix project for Canada and Film as a Cinematographer.
